Join High Points Kayaking for a spectacular evening kayak tour timed perfectly with the final and most brilliant celestial event of the year: the Full Cold Moon Supermoon. On this special night, the moon is at its closest point to Earth, making it appear 14% larger and 30% brighter than a standard full moon. We will launch from Herbert H. Jessen Boat Landing just as the golden hour settles over the historic Ashley River, watching the sun dip below the tree line before turning around to glide home under the massive, glowing spotlight of a Lowcountry supermoon. Dress in layers: Wear a wind-resistant jacket and synthetic layers (avoid cotton). Footwear: Water shoes or boots that you don't mind getting slightly wet at launch. In your car: Leave a dry towel in your car just in case. Refreshments: Bring something to drink (hot thermos recommended!) and your s ense of adventure. Booking & Policies Price: $33 per person (or $25 if you Bring Your Own Kayak - BYOK). Group Size: Spaces are strictly limited to 14 kayaks to ensure a high-quality, serene group experience.
