"A Must-Do Kayaking Experience in Charleston!
Had an amazing time with High Points Kayaking while visiting Charleston, South Carolina! This kayaking tour was the perfect mix of peaceful paddling and exciting discovery. Our guide, Ryan, was incredible super friendly, full of local knowledge, and clearly passionate about what he does.
One of the coolest parts of the tour was finding shark teeth along the way! We paddled through scenic marshes and stopped and found several fossilized teeth it felt like a real treasure hunt. The entire adventure was well-organized and perfect for both beginners and experienced kayakers.
If you’re looking for a fun, educational, and unique Charleston adventure, this is it. You’ll get a great workout, enjoy beautiful views, and maybe even take home a pocketful of shark teeth. Can’t recommend this Charleston kayaking tour enough book it!

Kayaking with Ryan was both easy and fun. Everything was ready when we got there all we had to do was go! He timed the trip perfectly so that the tide "helped" us so it wasn't strenuous at all. Very relaxing. And we found shark's teeth!! Can't wait to do it again!

I wanted to do something adventurous for my 50th birthday and this kayaking trip was just perfect! All we had to do was show up with water-friendly shoes and water to drink. Ryan is a wonderful guide, and even took us to shark tooth hunting where we found dozens of shark's teeth! Highly recommend High Points Kayaking. Oh, and don't feel like you have to be super athletic to do this. I am far from in shape, and it was easy and fun!

I booked a Sharks Tooth Excursion for my Husband and myself as kind of a date night / afternoon. We'd never been kayaking on the Ashley River and really had no idea what to expect. Ryan had timed the tides correctly so that we weren't fighting the current and it was an easy paddle to the areas where we stopped. When we first started sifting and looking for the sharks teeth we had no idea what we were trying to find. Ryan was great about teaching us what to look for and was as excited as we were at each tooth that we found. We brought home many, many teeth. I've already recommended High Point Kayaking to many friends and plan to go again later this summer. Seriously - don't hesitate to book a trip!
